R-NOD is a drive test tool for NB-loT & CAT-M 1. It enables drive test measurement solu­tions for IoT networks. R-NOD is an application-driven based scanner used for measur­ing the strength of the signal. This is categorized into two segments – one is a Stand-alone application and the other is for drive and walk-tests and can integrate the tool with their existing tool-set.

R-NOD works on Bluetooth communication with a battery life of a day. The tool con­sists of NB-loT/CAT-M 1 device along with Android mobile app which provides live drive test report plotted over google maps pivot using cell KPl’s. Configurable test suit provides greater flexibility and control. Its applications are in RF planning and network coverage loophole detection.
